When will HTC Hero be available on Orange?

I suggest exercising a bit of patience and see what Orange have done to the Hero first. Their history of 'customizing' mobiles does not inspire my confidence.
Plus, I think they're going to use this model to really push people on to 2-year contracts... I wish more people were fighting this.
People have there choice..
Just coming to the end of a 18 month contract....and wont be doing another one...let alone a 24 month contract... ( 2 years !!! sod that )
Think ill let my contract just run as it is.....I like the look of the HERO and if it was availble on a 12 month contract then MAYBE just MAYBE,
but 18 or 24..NEVER....
If people dont go for these contracts then the mobile networks will be forced to come back to 12 / 18 month contracts.
Whats next 36 month contracts ?

Couple more questions: which website is best to buy HTC Hero Sim free from?
Also, I see it takes MicroSD memory and the largest card I can find is 4GB, is this is biggest MicroSD comes in?
ThanksKavanne

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! does the HTC Hero.
Largest Micro SD card at the moment is 16gb, although I think 32gb ones should be out soon. 8gb ones are going for the £15 mark. Places like Amazon, Play etc sell them.0 -
The colours for the HTC Hero are a little annoying. T-Mobile seem to have the white and black (under the G2 brand), Orange have the Graphite Grey and Carphone Warehouse have the Pink and Brown.
I'd consider getting a black or grey one but I'm with O2 which has the best coverage where I live (T-Mobile doesn't work here at all). No word on O2 getting the Hero. I would get an iPhone but it's just a tad too big. Would buy one if they brought out a slightly smaller one though. Tried the Pre in the US and it's ok but nothing great IMO. Guess I'll just have to wait a bit longer and see what happens!0 -
I went with the iPhone anyway
