Change of Contract from O2?
Hi All,
I've received a notification of a change of contract details from O2. I was under the impression that they cannot do this without your expression permission. Does this mean I can "get out" of the contract?
I'm hoping so as I've had a considerably long list of outstanding blunders from O2, and I'm dying to leave them...
Thanks for any help and pointers.

I had a letter from O2 a couple of months ago that sounds similar.
I was told that 'as my contract renewal date was approaching' , I needed to consider my options. Only problem - I didn't have a fixed trem contract with them.
Spoke to someone in the services dept - they said it was just a reminder from the marketing dept, that I could change my options if I wanted! V. badly worded letter - I just ignored it (and am looking for another provider anyway).0 -
No, this is definatly a "change of your contract" type email, and I have two contracts with O2.
To top it all I asked one tariff to be changed 3 months ago, and they've changed the wrong one. Now they're saying that my original tariff is no longer available. Gah, I dispair.0 -
I also got this message from O2. I agree with you didn't think they could change contract terms without you agreeing to them....I might get in touch with them about this..Stuff Happens As Wave of Ambiguity Spreads:cool:0
