I'm thinking of throwing a bit of a party in december, actually if I do it, I will do a christmas ball, lots of dressing up and all of that. I've never done a birthday party before because my birthday is right on top of christmas so mega loads of my friends will be working, so I'm not sure if I should bother or not really.

    not many ppl work then.

i got the solution to ipod issue - according to apple, i should watch each song as it syncs to the ipod and the one before the error is the one with the issue and i should remove that tune.

well, 90% of my friends are musicians or techs, so the christmas busy period lasts right through december into mid january.

On top of that I don't know what hubby's tour schedule will be. I guess to get around that we'd book amy mac to play or whoever he's working with. I guess I could leave it until mid january, bit odd having a 40th a month later but it would be MSE to do it then. Sometimes I wish we were in 9 to 5 jobs, then at least we could plan further than 2 days in advance :rotfl:

Toto, if you had 9 to 5 jobs, you wouldnt get the Hoosiers to play at your wedding, or Amy Mac at your birthday bash :D

Hi all, not been around for a few days-everyone ok???
Bit pants here, as you know DH car broke its gearbox, so he's resorted to using his Land Rover. He took it to local tyre place for tracking, and they broke a sterring rod. Couldn't get one locally so we had to leave it there and mail order a part. Didn't arrive as promised on friday, so they sent it "Special sat am delivery"...yep, it did'nt come either...so I've just had to drop him at Gatwick, so he can catch coach to LHR before he flies to Peking !!!Just wait till the delivery office opens tomorrow morning...they'll be feeling the sharp edge of my tongue!!!!
We did the QM2 cruise to NYC last year, and are planning another next spring....

Don't normally plug music here, but has anyone heard of Geoffrey Gurrumul ? An aboriginal singer, blind from birth, with the most stunning voice. Go on you tube, and listen to his track "Wiyathul"...promise you won't regret it......SRM..
    Debt-free...and staying that way...
