OH popping by, there are only 6 countries in the world where a humanist ceremony is legal and Scotland is 1 of them.

so we are giving it serious consideration since it seems much much more personal and romantic :)

Depends what you mean by "personal technology". Most kids had bikes for example (unlike the Playstation couch potatoes) - not electronic, but technology all the same.

    Morning all

Doom and Trina - go for which ever ceremony you feel is best for you as a couple.

DH and I had a simple quick service at a registry office, we went for the "quickie" version and had our choice of music playing in the background, as neither of us have any religious views we opted to stay away from the church and keep it simple. We went back to ours afterwards for a buffet and glass of bubbly, then chucked everyone out 2 hours later...The whole thing cost just over £300 and everyone commented on how nice a time they had without all the pomp and stress.

Off to make potato cakes and poached eggs for brekkie....yum!

    Morning All :hello:

Just caught up on last nights chat, so here goes: -

    First Single: -
That I bought - Stop the Cavalry by Jona Lewie
Bought for me - Wombling Merry Christmas :rotfl:

Last album bought (well I got 2 at the same time): -
King's of Leon - Only by the Night
    Buddy Holly - Greatest Hits

Few decades separating those two choices :rotfl:

Going to go & have a read of this Anne Summers thread, could do with a laugh, it's chock a block here today, there's a classic car show about 200 yards from where I live - never seen so many cars that I've never seen before
