    I could only afford the single. I'd just had my very own record player for my birthday.:o
    One of those things with an arm lever!

    I had one of those too - complete with the 16rpm BB was talking about! I was always choreographing my own dances so everything I had was scratched to bits, loved slowing down my Pinky and Perky album to 16rpm and it sounded just like a bloke with a deep voice was singing - were they not real???

    and me :jand me:j you could stack a whole lot of 45's.

    i had pinky on perky on 33 and when you played it on 16 it was people just speeded up....i was gutted...:o:D

    Was it called a dansette or something. Had a lid and a handle so you could take it around with you.

    Didn't have my own record player - too poor for that - my parents had a radiogram though - anyone remember them ?
