comet wrongly specced laptop

ok well went to comet today only to find out they had spotted their mistake and the web page now shows the correct spec oh bum I thought, however thought I would nip into asda living and have a look there and to my suprise they had the exact same laptop at £200 instead of £259 as comet had it up for, so I thought nip back to comet and try the price match policy out on them to say they were a little miffed is an understatement and they matched the price for me there and then so I am typing this reply on my new laptop £59 quid better of relatively speaking the wife was a little peeved I had spent £200 but I managed to talk her around as I said it was a special treat for her as she was wanting a laptop for herself!!! ok so it isn't the best specced in the world but it will do fine for surfing and general tinkering aroun so all in all a good result I feel especially as comets original price was £289 last week!!!

Why did you not just buy it in Asda? Returning stuff and getting your money back is so much easier at Asda compared to Comet....as I suspect you will find out!

The reason I bought at comet is because I wanted to put it on my edge card to spread the cost a little, but whichever way you look at it I think you will agree a good result was achieved, as I say maybe not the best laptop in the world, but hey it's brand new has wireless and hopefully will keep my wife happy for a while!!!
