Ticketmaster MJ refund issue

Has anyone applied to Ticketmaster for refunds? I did and put my details into the Ticketmaster refund link on their website Michaeljacksonlive.com and it was a simply designed form with no email receipt of my refund having gone through and processed.
Having to wait up to 21 days to see if the refund has been processed correctly and then applying again if it hasn't sounds very unprofessional and makes me think that after a month or so they may just give me the souvenir tickets that I do not want.
Anyone else have the same experience?

I did mine through Seetickets and had the same thing. no email confirmation. not very good.0

I wonder if it will take the full 21 days to get a refund and if it will be directly onto the card, or if its in the form of a cheque to our address?....0

i had the same thought, if i forget to chase it up and miss the deadline i'm left with 2 tickets.
thats if we can even chase it up, when i tried to contact them regarding refund of my parking charges i had no luck.
not good.0 -
I was wondering when the deadline actually is? Has it been officially stated?0

Hi Ya there is no deadline for claimimg refunds and it is refunded to the card that was used to pay for the tickets to begin with. There is a deadline for claimimg the souvenier tickets though, I think its mid August. I used the same form and got no reciept by email either.Winnings 2009: Rimmel Pro Lycra Nail Polish.

I don't have the credit card I originally bought the tickets with anymore as I paid the balance and then closed it. Tickemaster will only refund to the card they were bought with.
You can't talk to them about it, and you can't email until you have been through their FAQ's on their website. Then when you do get an opportunity to email it rejects....
My old credit card company said that if I have an email confirmation that my refund is being made then they will transfer to another account.
Will we get an email, how long will it take?
Plus, they keep emailing me about other events - if they give me my money back I might be free to book them!0 -
The only reason why Ticketmaster is quoting a 21 day refund policy is so they can gain some interest on the money in the bank.
The reason why no refund email is sent out is to cause confusion. You have no proof to show that refund request has been already processed. So when the 21 day limit is up. They can turn around and say they did not receive your refund request and you will have to process it again to get your refund. It's all smoke and water tactics to con their customers out of their money for long as possible
There is no reason why they cannot send their customers an email explaining they have received your refund request. It sounds like to me it's more of a case of will not.0 -
i was worrying about this yesterday so i rang them up and she took my order number saw i had requested a refund and told me they dont send out confirmation emails but will email you when it has gone into your account and if the card is different to ring your bank to sort out the refund then.0
