Vodafone @ Home !!!!

Hi All

Does anyone else here have Vodafone at Home broadband, I have been unable to access my emails via them for the last 48 hrs, their internet is working fine, but not the email servers, they say they are aware but cannot give any timescale as to when they will be working again !! Is anyone else having problems with them ?????

I have today tried calling them to ask about a refund to compensate for the disruption, but they tried to fob me off saying the emails they supply are free of charge !!!! arrghhh !! :mad: Dont think they realised you cant have their emails unless you pay for the whole service !! So surely im paying for something I cant use !! Have I any rights ????

I would strongly reccomend you buy a domain name, and then forward all your emails to vf / orange / sky etc.

To elaborate
I bought my domain www.yourdomain.com (insert your own domain) when I started up my business. I then give out the same email address to ALL my contact (mail@yourdomain.com)
I forward the emails to whoever I have at the time - I can forward to more than 1 recipient- this allows me to pick up email from more than 1 source.

It sounds complicated but it's not really that hard - it also means you are not beholden to companies such as vodafone
