good stuff...do you happen to have a link to the website where it said this
You're a star

The discounted flext rates are here...
http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/Dispatcher?menuid=plans_flext_get&chosenPricePlan=pmt
...but I think I had to login to see the bit about upgrades. It basically said if you sign up and don't take a new phone they'll give you £10 discount per month
If you can't find it then tell them you've seen it anyway, it was definately there last week! Good luck! 0 -
ah mate...I don't think I can thank you enough!

It's actually a £12 discount.
The deal is especially good if you want to keep your current phone...I was actually gonna sign up and sell the phone it was gonna come with anyway.
I got the Flext 35 + Web N Walk (Unlimited internet)....works out to be £19.88 monthly - and NO wretched cashbacks!. Quite good for near abouts 900 mins X-Net especially as it's normally £42.50 p/m. I ended up selling my old phone (MDA Compact) and getting a Vario for quite a decent price.
Sure, there may be better deals about which works out to be free for the entire contract but with this I get to keep my number, don't have to deal with any cashbacks and I get full internet/MSN messenger on the move

Hi all,
Hi rockykabir
I have been looking at these new deals from T Mobile and they do look pretty good value for money.
You say that you sold your MDA compact and purchased a Vario
Firstly I cant see the Vario on the T Mobile website, what is it and did you buy it privately?
Secondly, what is wrong with the Vario bunch of phones. Is it that they are big and bulky, or is it that they are just no good.

I brought the Vario privately
The Vario is a decent phone...slightly fatter than the MDA compact but it has built in Wifi and a decent keyboard. If you like the Windows mobile line of PDA phones, then you'll like the Vario
T-Mobile have a policy in that if they do not have stock of a certain model in Web orders, they remove it from the range until they do. However, I think that you will likely find it in stock in T-Mobile retail stores - they also offer the 25% line discount for life

Hi all,
Hi rockykabir
Another question,
What is the internet addess like? Can you surf to most websites including MSE of course?
Is there access to webmail - yahoo, google and suchlike.
T Mobile are offering free internet surfing.
Well, I am currently surfing a few different sites whilst reading posts on here and replying to posts.
Would all of this be included in their free offering, whilst surfing using the T Mobile phone.
Basically, Is it any good?
Cheers

yep...normal internet surfing is very possible. I've used it to check these forums and many other site
- Flash sites are a lil slow but viewable. Other than that, everything is pretty good. MSN messenger on the move is absolutely class as is emails - u can save so much on Txt messaging if that's your thing.
Speedwise, it's not amazingly fast - especially if you are used to Broadband. You're looking at 28.8Kb speeds - but it's online all day which is v useful.
For me, this was all I needed in a phone. Google out some reviews in many websites

Hi everybody!
I,m with Orange payg.
Looking to sign up with T-Mobile flex-t.
Some of you guys seem to be getting extra discount by not taking a new phone ( £10 off per month )
Could anyone tell me if you can just take a flex-t package
without the phone if you are a new customer to T-Mobile?
Cheers!

Now that is an interesting question.....My best bet for you would be to contact T-Mobile's customer service - maybe any of the T-Mobile employees here might have a clue?0
