Green tea scam warning!!!

Hi
Just wanted to warn people of a scam that is on the internet its for something called Green Tea Purity. It is a supposed "free" trial where you only pay the shipping costs to recieve a bottle of tablets which will help clean out your system and lose weight. It will also help you lose a lot more than that! I read the terms and conditions and thought not much to lose so paid for the postage £4.99 and I thought if I dont like them then there is nothing lost! WRONG!! They were supposed to come from America but came from China. The bottle took ages to arrive and had only a few tablets in it. I didnt like the look of them so put them away. Only 2 days later I discovered that £48 had just vanished from my account. I rang the bank and stopped my card thinking someone had got hold of the details. After looking into it I discover it was a health group which had a different name to the one I had ordered the tablets from. I
went back to the website and couldnt find anything about why the money had gone out. searching deeper I discovered it was a charge for the tablets that I had recieved. I could not believe it. Nearly £50 for a handful of tablets. Hopefully now that I have cancelled my card that is the end of it. But still gutted I lost £50. I have contacted the company with no response as of yet but I just wante to warn other people not to be as dumb as me!
Does anyone know if there is anything I can do to get the money back or do I just have to accept the fact that it is gone? and now that I have cancelled my card for a new one will that be the end of it? I did tell my bank it was an unauthorised transaction on my account which it is, will I have a chance of getting my money back through them because of this? Any advice would be great thanks

As long as it's an unauthorised transaction, in this case it ism then the card company will help you to reverse the charge. Goodluck with it and don't let them rip you off.0

There was one of these scams on here a little while ago, some kind of wonder slimming pill or something as I recall.
What possesses anyone to consider these scams genuine, "all this lot for a couple of quid shipping, just give us your authority to withdraw money"
Is it not completely obvious what's going to happen???0 -
