While I agree that this is of interest to more peopel that just on Techie, I don't see whe it would be a Vent thread.
(also 22 viewing Techie right now compared to 6 on vent)

I have read.
And I understand that some people are venting (I agree!)
. But it's valid here as the original post was about email that could've been inaccurate or spam, it could go to discussions, the Arms, or a few other boards where it would be equally valid.
Why move it to Vent in particular - especially when there's already a thread there?

theres an option to remove but it says you have to put in your phone number and mobile number or they 'wont' remove it! im not telling some dodgy website my phone number what should i do? i got my details removed from 192.com within aweek and they also sent me a confirmation letter.Fr.
