  • Sorry Martin I didn't break it. I found it very useful though and know where I am going to get my money from now.

  • Really like the "Buy Back" feature - useful for folk in Northern Ireland who have to use both Euros and Sterling as part of normal life.

I like this - I know I have no issues scouting for good rates but work colleagues are more used to the one click & here's your answer situation - this is a nice one to recommend they try. So it'll make me popular - Wayhay

I tried to find some Estonian croons. When I tried to get them last year I found that most places don't stock them, so it may be worth stating whether or not they can be ordered and how long it takes.

The only thing that is slight annoying is if you don't meet the minimum amount for a company (e.g Post Office) it shows its name and the name again underneath as the link whilst the rest just have the names as the links...

When you use the buyback tool it adds the delivery fee to the amount back, making it look like you get extra, I assume this is not correct.

I like the look of it, it 'fits' well with the MSE image but definitely stands apart with the holiday theme. Well done! I couldn't break it either and haven't noticed any gremlins not already posted.

The page layout also works well on smaller screens, so is ideal for a quick browse to when out and about - especially for me as that would be when I most need it! I'm never that prepared beforehand...

The currency converter is wrong for me too.

    £500 = 442.25 Euros (it's actually more like 584.96)

I had a play with the other things and couldn't find anything wrong. I like it. :)

It's good. The best prices seem to charge about 1.5% over the market closing price in the FT, the worst about 4% on Aussie dollars. That's a big difference!

Is it worth pointing out that much better deals are available for electronic transfers if people are sending money abroad to a bank account? For currencies like the Euro and US Dollar you can pay a fraction of a percent!

I occasionally get a few Euros out (about £50 at a time) and I wander into my local Post Office where the nice friendly man hands them over but the maximiser says that's below their online limit. But its not below their 'just wander in and get it' limit - could those rates be included too ? And I think the same is true of M&S from whom you also don't have to order it online, but can just saunter in with cash or a chequebook and come away with smaller sums of Euros. Or am I being silly and missing the point somehow ?
