Am I missing something or is there some kind of scam where they recoup the money for the 'free' gift?
I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!

The networks will give the retailers around £300-£400 for a new customer they sign up.
The retailers will use some of that to buy a free gift to entice you to join.

The cheapest I've seen with this deal is £20/month with 4 months free = £160.
Get the free Xbox 360, free fone.
Sell the fone for £150 (throwing away the sim) and keep the Xbox?
and just pay the line rental?

If you don't mind me asking - where is a deal that cheap? Are you sure it is not an 18 month contract? All the contracts I have seen are around £35 a month and 18 month.
As for when it will be received - on dialaphone's site it says: "Your FREE XBOX 360 will be despatched within 28 days of your connection."0 -
