Yes Tweety if you knew of this character three years ago and knew he was dodgy. Why did you not raise the issue before all of us put our trust into the firm?
"Actions speak louder than words" springs to mind!0 -

What many of you do not realise is that when anyone purchases a business, many necessary checks have to be made so that it is not corrupt therefore IH must of had knowledge of what he was buying, i therefore feel no sympathy for him but for the employees and partners who are now being blamed for peoples loss of money which they themselves were most likely not aware of, i mean do you know the money details of your employers!? i mean IH tried to put WH into administration behind everyones back and had no intention of paying employees salary or clients for that matter, and where is he now?! probably on a sunny island spending all our money!! REPORT HIM TO WATCHDOG I SAY!0 -
I have read the posts (no doubt planted) suggesting that Imran Hussain is as much a victim as anyone else. Rubbish!
I had dealings with Mr Hussain before he joined Wolstenholmes. Despite the polished image, he is dishonest. He lies, does not return calls, is evasive and also shockingly incompetent.
I also know one of his former colleagues, a very honest and hardworking solicitor, who had a dreadful time with him; properties not registered, files in a mess, unhappy clients etc.
Do not be suckered in by him and his cronies into believed anyone else is to blame. He was in charge - the firm was obviously understaffed - surely as managing partner this was his domain. Law firm are required to deal effectively with complaints - he didnt.
He should be struck off and possibly arrested. The courts have no sympathy with dishonest solicitors and i am sure the 'pretty boy' would be welcomed with open arms in strageways!0 -
Fascinating thread.TheInsideTruth wrote: »

They are both the same entity (well not legally) They have been exchanging work with each other and the majority of people who work there are originally employees of WOLSTENHOLMES, there has been a secret deal between Gavin Wall AND Imran Hussain. There is just way too much in common between the two, i Knew it!
So did anybody's files end up with Homes?0 -

Different industry but the pattern of non reply to emails is familiar and makes this post all the more interesting:

Will keep my eye on this thread and look forward to developments especially the entertaining newbie contributions.0 -
Hi
phone scam was run by Waseem Siddique and Mario Cardinali who were running wh whilst Nasir Ilyas was in Pakistan and they are the ones who set up the online conveyancing. Also Asma (wife of Nasir Ilyas) knew that they were in charge and did nothing to report them. Begs the question, if they hadn't have been found out, would she be 'poor asma' or would she still be involved in all this. Word is that IH went to Uni with NI and NI still owns the company.0 -
Oh and she knew 2 'non-solicitors' were in charge of the company, did she report that to the SRA at the time or has she been to the police now letting them know all thats gone on - or did she sit back and wait the the s**t to hit the fan and let all those people lose money and houses.0

What a complete mess this whole thing is: as a solicitor, albeit not a conveyancer, only advice would be to speak to DWF early next week but they probably won't be able to tell you much more at this stage.0
