Steven Clarke and David Burke were not in that office as from December 2nd 2008 due to disputes with new owners, they never went back and subsequently retired from Wolstenholmes on 27th February. They then reported issues to SRA from January onwards.
So do we know who the new owners were then as Imran Hussain only joined in 2009 according to records.
It is amazing that this was brought to the authorities attention a while back and that matters were allowed to get to this that it resulted in such misery and financial loss. I hope the SRA have got a good explanation for the misery that is being endured by so many.0 -
It is nice to see the Law Society have finally updated their records and no records of Wolstenholmes LLP or Mr Imran Hussain or Helen Murgatroyd can be found.
Do we know who the other solicitors are that have had their PC's suspended?0 -
Bobby Shabir and Nasir Ilyas, funny no records can be found of them also on the Law Society's website, having only looked days ago their information was there then can it be that they are als being onvestigated and have had their PC's suspended also!0

The Law Society took months to show they had an office in Bham when it was still open. At least we can all be thankful that we are on the right track to get this mess sorted. You can still search solicitor names, I just searched Sean Daly and his details come up, but it doesnt say who they work for. However I searched, Hussain, Imran and three entries come up...?0 -
The three entries that now show for Imran Hussain are not the Imran Hussain we are concerned with as days ago there were four entries for Imran Hussain one of them being Wolstenholmes which now no longer appears, good riddance.0

I wasn't sure if it was a common name or if it was the same man as the addresses show them all to be in the North of England. I'd hate to have the same name as him right now!
Has anyone else seen his ugly mug on other than the sites below?

Once again we need to call into question the "regulatory" function of the SRA. we all seem to be really thankful they have finally intervened, as if they were the rescuing cavalry
But what the hell have they been doing for the best part of a year while, it is clear, they were receiving constant streams of information about the goings-on from clients and concerned solicitors??
In fact I say they are the BIGGEST culprits/failures in this long, sad and sorry episode
What action will be taken against these f-wits??
God I hate laywers/"judges" of all descriptions and wish them quick speed to their destination in Hell0 -

I've been reading this thread since 15th Dec when my estate agent said WH were going under, but I didn't know what to believe as I had an email the next day from their Birmingham saying my sale was going through ok, however I just received the following email from the SRA -
