Nice to see you posting again. Congrats on your pregnancy.

The car dilemna is one that has put me off any more kids. Even when they are on the bigger booster seats they are still huge aren't they. There is no way they would fit in my car, and maybe just in my DHs peugot estate if one child sits in the front and i sat in the back with the kids. Not ideal.

Sounds like you have a lot of little decisions to make there. No advice really, but i can see your point about not wanting to pay to store stuff. Can you ebay some and do pick up only? Or the domestic violence charity sounded good. You are a thoughtful person.

Thanks CHA - we have a vauxhall signum which is a bit like a larger vectra estate, technically we have had an infant carrier, a stage 1 seat and an adult in the beck before but it was a skinny lanky man :rotfl:My oldest is just about minimum weight for a high back booster seat so I'm hopeful that if we get a narrow one she will be able to go in the middle and also get a slimmed down stage 1 seatthat should free up enough room for my ample !!! or indeed the OH's who is complaining he is getting fat

I considered ebay but i hate hassle and a similar table within 25 miles only sold for £5 so I though for the hassle involved and listing fee it wasn't worth it.

Both of mine are in the boosters, and my littlest man is only 28 months. They are both big kids. 2 stone 12, and 3stone 2. It makes life a lot easier when they are in them. Hope you find what you are wanting easily.

lucky you my 26 month old is just under 21lb and in 9-12 month clothes. she really is a totty little doll especially considering she was 8lb3 at 37 weeks gestation. Her big sister is similar but 32lb and 4 in a few weeks. I suspect that what I need quite possibly does not exist using the money availible.

    Hi Lilac pixie,

Does your table have chairs with it? I'm in the same region as yourself and may be interested in it.

Sugarhunny - it did have 4 folding chairs with it but as it's been in the storage unit for so long I can't remember if the chairs are as well or if they have wanderd off to some weird and wonderful land along with random odd socks and the pizza wheel that has totally sprouted legs and walked.

I went to storage unit earlier, far too many boxes in it to have any idea about if the table has chairs. There is alot more there than I remember.

I have a plan of action though, I will get this house totally decluttered then get the storage unit emptied and into this house and we will go through each box, store what needs stored in the loft or in the cupboards we have here. I have a cupboard with the hotwater tank that has about 5 feet of space above that is not used, I think I will see about shelving, It had batons in it so it looks as if there was shelves in there at some point. There is also a cupboard that used to be a coal scuttle in years gone by when the open fire was operable but now I have put shelves in it, floored it and keep the ironing board, towels etc in it. It is huge and we could do alot more with the space.

I opened some of the boxes in storage and OMG it is the biggest lot of poop in there, glass spice rack never used, deep fat fryer same, other kitchen bits. alot is from our wedding, we asked for no gifts as I already had a home and stuff and we didn't register anywhere for that reason but still people bought us stuff, You would not believe the amount of towels we have in the cupboard towels are useful but blue and aqua or brown/gold just doesn't match our black/white/chrome colour scheme at all. If they had came with gift receipts I would of returned them but I didn't want to offend by asking for a reciept. Now years later they are in a cupboard or some things in storage so i need to just get rid. I don't think many charity shops take electrical items so I think i might have to do a car boot sale.

Well we have sorted the car/car seat dilema for the time being. trip to mothercare today resulted in them popping DD1 on the scales and she is over minimum weight for a highback booster, booster, dd2 car seat and either me or OH all fit in the back row with the infant carrier in the front seat with airbag switched off. Or DD1 in front in booster seat and dd2, baby and adult in the rear all fits. We will keep DD1 in front facing child seat until time comes because I feel the 5 point harness is safer just in case but that may be my paranoia. DD2 is quite envious because the boosters are pink. OH less than impressed with pink car seats.

    Bizzare thought of the day.

For every 4 mortgage payments I make my MF date reduces by 5 months. I have cam to this conclusion because I still pay the payment as permy fixed rate and not the new lower SVR rate.

Daily interest for August was £4.51. For the first time the balance as per my calculations is under 50k by a whole £16. I had aimed to hit 50k for Christmas 2010 so I am there 4 months early :j:j

Now I think I am addicted, I have saw a house, it is lovely, old stone built terraced cottage thing that has been extended into the attic space. Big long mature gardens to the rear about 120ft. I havent arranged a viewing only perved at the property schedule from the EA. There are no interior pictures but it does say in need of upgrading/modernisation. :rotfl:

It is a 3 bedroom, 2 public room, study, family bathroom, WC, dining/kitchen and it's on budget :eek: Well it is provided we can sell this :rotfl:

So my plan of action this week is:
    1. Sort this budget out once and for all,
    2. Sort out ways to earn a little extra cash,
    3. Motivate myself to do ebay,
    4. Find FB spreadsheet that everyone seems to use and use it!! at the moment mines is a mix between a snowball and some paper calculations.
    5. I was mis-sold PPI insurance on car finance several years ago, I complained to the ombudsman who agreed i was mis-sold but the company then folded so the FSCS have sent me a form to complete. This week I will complete it. I think it could be worth a few K.
    6. Look at the HiP grant, I think i qualify and £190 is £190
    7. Sure Start Grant - look into this, I think we earn way to much but with my disability possibly there would be an entitlment.
    8. See what freebies there are with a view to starting my hospital bag

Plan of action is well being planned, Did something possibly silly, I went to view a house today. it is old and dated but large, 3 double bed around 112sq m. kitchen is minimal like sink and a pantry plus a clod press. I know what one is but never seen one outwith a museam depiction of a kitchen pre fridge freezers.
