My boss must think I'm on strike though! Not had a very productive start to the week:o:o

Can I join the fun please, pretty please with a christmas fairy on top?:D

Thank god I'm not the only nutjob thinking about xmas already:D Been thinking about it for ages but finally had the urge to do something about it on saturday and thats when I found you lot:) Been reading and taking notes, tonnes of ideas here so a big THANKS to all of you and also to Kingsr(?) who posted the cake recipe:D
This is our 1st xmas at our house and although we meant to invite the ILs DH has also managed to invite my parents & brother too so for my 1st 'grown up' xmas I''ll be catering for about 10people:eek: I know I should be panicking but I'm loving it at the moment, and the plan is to get everything sorted and then have a relaxing xmas eve with DH before our house gets overrun with people:D Probably won't happen but for now I'm happy with my delusions lol

Oh and if DH divorces me for singing xmas songs too much then I'm blaming you lot:p:p Apparently I've been humming xmas tunes for a week now and DH has finally had enough lol

I didn't cover the hole - I'm filling the bowl with wrapped sweets, so it didn't seem to matter.
  • Is anyone else panicking about not being finished? I said Id be finished by September. Money is the main thing in the way! The only thing really lol! I know what I want to get most people but I have no pennies! Hopefully OH will get a good wage and I can buy a few xmassy things to feed my xmas addiction. :o Im going to pick my brothers duvet set up today (finally!) so at least that'll be another present ticked off. Next time I go to Tescos Im going to get him a set of sweets i saw in the shape of a wii remote (£1.50) so along with the FCUK smelly set I got in the jan sales that'll be him sorted for the grand total of £8.75. :T

They had loads of Queen albums in my local charity shops last weekend! Once vinyl gets a bit scratched, I guess people just don't want it any more.

Do you have a local Freecycle network? It might be worth putting an advert on that asking if anyone has a Queen LP on vinyl which you could have for free .... you might be lucky, you never know!
  • Hi wilkinsons have got storage jars for 1.99 look at their website.
