I saw the woodfit one andy, they have a steel version too but both seem very expensive compared to other places. It would cost me £27 for one compared to £56 for 20 elsewhere. I did wonder about buying 20 and ebaying what I dont need but I probably cant be bothered with faffing around tbh.

I've ordered from Woodfit before and found them to be very good so I suspect if I dont find anywhere else in a day or so then I'll get it from there.

i would certainly buy the 20 and ebay the remainder. rather than pay the 27 quid per strip!

Use the metal screw in plasterboad fixings, bore a hole before you screw them into plasterboard, makes for a much stronger fixing.

You can put a couple of spots of no nails on wall unit before hanging it as well but honestly not needed.

I asked a joiner if plasterboard fixings would be ok and got told....'don't even think about it'.

In fact when the old kitchen was fitted, the fitter who did that wouldn't use plasterboard fixings either.

One of the units will hold electrical equipment so I think I'd rather be a bit 'belt and braces' anyway. :)
