....but can't find anywhere that sells them singly.

Any ideas? They come in 2 versions with regard to what they can support...I want the 150kg one as in the link, rather than the 105kg one. Normal brackets will not be suitable for the area in question and other than cutting out the plasterboard to insert wood (which I really dont want to do as the place has been newly boarded and painted) this is the best answer.

Thanks but no. I need a rail that will span across studs in the wall rather than just a plate.Herman - MP for all!0

Any other suggestions guys? Ebay seller hasn't answered my query so I'm not buying the thing in case it's not the right one and also because the lack of communication isn't great. I really need this rail, there must be somewhere I can buy just one?Herman - MP for all!0

I quite often hang cabinets, plate racks, shelving using plasterboard rawl plugs without any problems if the plasterboard is good and solid.
The DIY alternative is to use 2 battens, both with a bevel cut on the face that touches the other.
One then simply hooks one over the other and you screw together. The limitation is this only works with those cabinets that have a service void at the back.
A half way house is to use a batten to span the gap and screw the plates to the batten.Any other suggestions guys? try any local kitchen fitters. one of them will have those mounting rails in stock and will most likely sell you just the one.Get some gorm.0

The dimensions of the eBay stuff appear to be the same as the one in your link. So will have the same load bearing capacity.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
I did think that 27col, but I wanted to clarify first. Once bitten twice shy when it comes to ebay I'm afraid. Still no reply though so I wont be buying from that seller now anyway.Herman - MP for all!0

Use the metal screw in plasterboad fixings, bore a hole before you screw them into plasterboard, makes for a much stronger fixing.
You can put a couple of spots of no nails on wall unit before hanging it as well but honestly not needed.0
