Anyone Else Got Sky Broadband

for the last couple of days ive had a real job launching skybroadband and today cant launch it at all although internet explorer is working, does anyone have any idea whats going on, thanks in advance

hi i have sky broadband but use firefox as my browser as its quicker than explorer sorry dont know if there is any probs with sky but maybe u would like to try a diff browser :beer:

I have Sky bb, I some times have the same problem. Spoke to sky about it and they said it was because i wasnt using the router supplied and refused to help any further :mad:

I don't use the router they supplied. i havent had any problems at all with it to be honest

Are you using the supplied router or your own?

Morons are slowing down peoples connections. I pay for 20mb, get 8mb at best, cheeky gits had it down to 1mg for couple of days till i rung them. Usual crap how im at fault. Just tell em you will leave them if they don't sort it, like magic it gets faster:rolleyes:

Why pay for 20mb then , why not just pay for 8mb

i agree, ive noticed how my broadband has slowed down so much, also it takes ages to get my email up thought it was my computer but now im begining to think different, and yes i am using there router, what is the reason they would slow broadband down though

I thought skys top package was 16 meg? Or have they raised it now?
