I thought skys top package was 16 meg? Or have they raised it now?

Yes now "upto" 20mg, which is £10 a month, the mid package is 10mg and is £5 a month and 2mg is free.

i agree, ive noticed how my broadband has slowed down so much, also it takes ages to get my email up thought it was my computer but now im begining to think different, and yes i am using there router, what is the reason they would slow broadband down though

They slow it down because you are downloading or watching stuff online. I thought that was whole point of paying the extra for "unlimited" broadbrand.

I think this month i will make the effort to download twice as much:D

to be honest i rarely download anything, just phoned sky and after half an hour waiting to be put through to someone its totally cut me off, and all i could hear was an echo of my own voice

Usual customer support then:rolleyes: Good luck it will be half a hour before you speak to someone who can speak english, then a further 10 minutes whilst person down the phone says he can't help you to & ring another number, which you then ring and be told to ring the number you just rung as we can't help. Then you ring back and he spends 5 minutes telling you it's yeh own fault.

Possibly a DNS issue. Try using openDNS as your dns server:
