The garage have just called, the car is through the mot (well after a new set of windscreen wipers. That's the good news.

The bad news is the service has turned into new brakes (discs and pads) brake fluid replacement, air con service (clean, antibacterial stuff and fluid) wheel balancing and blah blah blah. I got bored after a few dozen random figures (plus vat). This is all going to be £500+ sigh.

No news from visa dude yet.

bleugh! Tell casper not to eat moths!

I just had a nice conversation with Sky TV.... Big G insists that he will carry on paying the sky tv but he doesn't want to pay the extra £10 a month multiroom subscription... trouble is we've only had it since March so i reckon we are tied in.

Anyway explained situation to sky man and he said that he cannot get us out of multiroom £10 but he can discount sky package by 25% saving him £11.50 a month......

do you think miserable features will be happy with that, surely he will....

it's only for 6 months but by then i will be well clear of the place when they bump his contract back up to £46.....

as if he can't afford a tenner a month! he's the one keeping the £220 a month rent house!!! and he earns £30k a year!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

I think the last episode I saw was the one where Bree tells Orson to confess he ran Mike over and take the rap or their marriage is over - I see he's still around

He took the rap and has been to prison - he had his dental practice licence taken off him though because of it and thats why he is no longer a dentist.

Thanks for the update :D (What happened to Victor by the way?)

Casper is still torturing moth. It can no longer fly but every time he bats it with a paw it crawls about fluttering its wings.

Do I take the moth away and put it out of its misery (bleugh _pale_ at the thought of the crunchy squish that would involve) or let the cat keep playing and hope I don't see/hear the final crunch _pale_:eek::confused:

Nah not really, it did hurt quite a bit when moving around for the first few days, but after that it was ok. I was told no driving for 6 weeks and no physical exercise for about the same. I went to work 4 days after and did a 3 hour set :o

I had it about 5 years ago, and obviously I've had another baby since then. I have to say the muscle repair (which was the reason I did it, not for skin) is still holding up on the lower belly, it's my upper belly which took the hit with this baby.

The thing was I was a little teeny size 6 when I had it done and even under clothes you could see the mess my tummy muscles were in, so I went and had them stitched together, they took about 2" of skin.
