Have you got Bluetooth and Wifi on? On calls a lot?
Also some apps like Twitter ones will drain it.
I had the 8900 for a while and found the battery life excellent, better than the bold I have now.
I believe there is an app you can install to help with the battery life. Also you could turn down the screen brightness.0 -

How can i find out what version of software I have and which is the latest one??0 -
goto options (spanner icon) then choose about and it will tell you what version your running0
