Michael Jackson Tickets Refund Issue

  • The way AEG is handling the tickets is by offering everyone a 100% refund.

This is what everybody gets (legally speaking).

However, AEG then offer you the option to enter into a separate agreement whereby you pay £75 (or whatever the ticket cost) in exchange for a ticket. There is however no obligation to enter this second agreement, hence their actions are legal.

Any idea what the policy is on any pre-sale codes that were bought and sold on ebay, effectively it was a lottery chance of being able buy a ticket (but not an actual ticket) Will buyers be able to claim those from sellers?

Why should they, That is a seperate sale and the buyer got exactly what they were purchasing.

Maybe this sounds really stupid, but I wont be getting the item I purchased. If MJ had not died, I would have been sent the ticket and seen him in concert, after the concert I would obviously have the ticket to keep. Would it not be fair for the tickets to be sent out and only receive a £60 refund? The tickets do not cost £80 to produce. If the tickets were sold for double the cost they cost to produce, the fans would get thier tickets and AEG would still make some money. It seems wrong for them to make a mass profit after MJ has died. They obviously dont have to pay MJ for performing, so they are being greedy. What will happen to the tickets if everyone wants a refund?? Will AEG bin them or burn them? No they would more than likely sell them on somewhere. I have tried calling Ticketmaster for my refund, but have spend over 2 hours trying to actually speak to someone, but am always told to hold the line. Have send emails, but no reply. How can I get my refund if I can not get through to Ticketmaster?

As has been said,it is your choice, have a refund! or keep the ticket and not get a refund.

AEG are hardly being greedy, just trying to recoup £80 000 000 losses from people who have more money than sense
