    Buffy I have the same problem- it's v depressing indeed. Bio oil is a good long term solution, but for the time until it kicks in try either smashbox light primer (they do an oil free one if you still have oily skin) pricey but it plugs up the scars and holds your make up on. I've only ever found it on the tinterweb, so an alternative is GOSH velvet touch from some superdrug stores, but smashbox is definitely the best.

    Lol- yep I de-lurked last week too. I always read the chat- just very rarely have anything to input! :rotfl:
    Bio oil will work but it's a long process- it encourages the skin to regenerate and heal. I'm impatient tho- I wanted to disguise it while I was waiting for it to heal- so I tried the smashbox. I was always concious of the 'pitted' effect, and also my makeup sliding off in the heat.
    Bio hasn't 'cured' my scars... part of wanting to get debt free is so that OH can afford to pay for a skin peel for me:o
