Ebuyer - advice needed urgently!

  • I think it is unrealistic to expect companies who probably run on a shoe-string staff to keep up with the heavy demand at this time of year. The trouble is we all leave our purchasing til the last minute! I've had much slower service than ususal from Amazon (over a week for a DVD that claimed to be available to be sent in 24 hours) If you want something urgently it's best to go to a shop, not rely on the vaguaries of internet orders/packing/delivery. You have no way of knowing whether your order is first or 1000th in the system!
  • Received my Robosapien today as promised. Along with my partner who has ALSO ordered one that came at the same time. Not forgetting the mini Robosapien I bought for my partner as a pretend haven't got you the big robot and the OTHER mini one that o/h bought for my daughter!!! 4 Robosapiens in 1 household. Good God, HELP!!!!!!!!!! :o
  • Just an idea but couldn't you buy the robosapien at another store with a good returns policy and then when the ebuyer one turns up you can return it to the store for a refund.

I realise this is immoral due to the fact you're punishing a good company who have  adecent policy and actually helping a poor company (ebuyer - who I have had problems with before and still fall into the trap of going back).

Just an idea though to try and get you out of the dilemma.
