Small amounts of currency

Hi
Does anyone have any tips on the best place to go for small amounts of foreign currency? I'm going on a holiday with everything included (making up numbers on a Guide holiday) so only want about £10 of Euros and £50 (or less) of Swiss Franks. I don't want to be paying a fee obviously, what are my options?
Thanks
J

For such a small amount, you need somewhere which charges a percentage commission, without a minimum fee. A 'worse' rate here will far outweigh the cost of paying a typical fixed commission of, say £3.00.
I'd probably go to M&S, because that's where I usually go. Except as an exercise in consumer power, difference in rate for €10 will not be worth the shoe leather.0 -

For the Euros, since it's such a small amount, you could try asking around to see if any friends or family have any leftover currency laying around. I always have a box of coins and notes which I have brought back from my travels and which weren't worth changing back to Sterling. I'm happy to sell/give/lend this money as appropriate.
For Switzerland, it's always advisable to have a decent reserve of cash as it's an expensive country and you always go through moire than you expect.0
