No, don't think so, I shall be plodding away in my own way but don't want to sign up to anything:o I think I'm going to try and earn a bit extra each month and put half towards the mortgage and half away to savings (OK probably holiday fund:rotfl:) while just making a token £10 OP each month. Will try and scrimp a bit out of budgets each month too, who says we can't live on lentils?;)
Most of the OP was prestudent time! when I had a job...
Speaking of scrimping I caught super scrimpers last night - not laughed so much in ages! there was a lady in a stately home who saved money by cutting a xmas tree from her estate:D why didn't I think of that....:rotfl::rotfl:Mortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Is it bedtime yet?:o so sleepy! currently reading Sue Townsend's book about the Woman who went to bed for a Year and it's a tempting idea at the moment
got to go out pick up DS later but after that I think an evening on the sofa in my pjs shall be in order.
Not done much MS today but have done some surveys (amazing how many you get screened out of as a student) and will do a few comps later.Mortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Arggghhh just deleted my post:mad:!
OK so basically what I was saying was that I've clawed together the final payment for DS's school trip and after that's paid next month I shall use that account for my slush fund
My plan is still to pay half of any excess each month into the slush fund and the other half off my mortgage leaving my savings alone - are you all laughing at my optimism:rotfl::rotfl:
I've done the ironing and stripped my bed so next part of today's plan is a quick shower, lunch then into town, I shall probably leave screaming within an hour as I hate the crowds at this time of year but need a few things so must be done:oMortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
