Yep, it's a conspiracy to make sure we remain as little wage-slaves. I've only started to feel decent over the past couple of days, and I'm back on monday...

I feel better than I did this morning, hoping the day on the sofa has got me over the worst of it. Good you are feeling better though.

I keep hearing about this "meal planning" malarky... ;)

I meal plan for when DS is here but on my own... omlette or stir fry :D. DS was making a pizza yesterday and wanted some meat for the top so have chorizo to use up now as it was cheaper than salami;)

Well it's good you're feeling better - plans for the weekend?

    Yum...pizza... ;)

Though I'm sure someone will come on a tell us that those sorts of meats are really unhealthy, made from the unmentionable parts of donkeys and that we should all be eating lettuce salads... ;)

I very rarely meal plan for me, though I've a hunk of silverside to use up.

Not really, will see how I feel. Haven't been to the gym since tuesday though due to cold so would like to get back. You got anything exciting planned?

It was nice, he made it from scratch so very cheap too ;), they aren't the healthiest of meats but a wee bit gives lots of flavour so don't need to use much. I do love a salad though :D

can guess what you'll be eating then... or there's always the freezer!

Not really. I need to buy a laundry basket. Can you contain your excitement over that? :rotfl:

Salad isn't food. Salad is what food eats...

It came from the freezer. (Sounds like a title of a B movie...) and it has been there so long, even the mammoth and sabre toothed tiger burgers were looking young and fresh.

I'll probably just slice it and George [STRIKE]Formby[/STRIKE] Foreman it.

    Maybe with chips...

Or do you have a better suggestion?

I'm eating my way through the meat collection the lodger left behind. A whole drawer in the freezer! The theme for the next few days will be bacon! Hope I get through all this before I have a heart attack.

Got a potential lodger coming to look at the house tomorrow so need to hoover, steam and try to do other things to de-lynx ify the room!

Light a tea light and let it burn out (but be sensible and put it on plate on a heat proof surface). The flame destroys any smells.

Getting organised to go back to work... meals planned, soup cooking away, ironing up to date.

Resisted the urge to buy lunch at the gym and came home and had a panini instead - total spends £1.14 for the panini rolls and there are 3 in the freezer :D

Suppose I should do some tidying up now...
