Cheapest way to buy a handset

I want to buy a new mobile phone to replace my much abused Nokia. I am currently on 02 PAYG and want to stay with them. Please can anyone tell me the cheapest way to source a new handset?

It much depends on which handset you require & how much is cheap!

You can buy a nokia ( new, but not a lot of functions etc ) for approx £20 or you could get a better phone with camera ( refurbished or reconditioned ) from about £20 upwards ( LG C3330 camera phone bought reconditioned from phones4u online £19.95, none left now though ) but it is possible if you put time & effort in.

Try the Virgin website for reconditioned phones and if you go for a Nokia, its easy unlocked.

You can also get reconditioned phones from Vodo and 02 and look out for student offers on 02.

Can recommend all of these routes.

Or look at CFW for the Nokia 1100.
