Hi, I've had a similar problem trying to set up an online account for my mum as she has recently joined Onetel/Talktalk and was told to ring customer support. I've not got around to phoning them yet as I had enough of talking to them about problems with my own bill last week (sorry raggit it wasn't you
).
I've just looked at TalkTalk site now and see that they are relaunching their new website tomorrow and we have to
''Be prepared to be amazed''so who knows what may happen :rolleyes:0 -

ok where do i start with talk talk!
well we kept getting sales reps knocking on our door i kept saying no but one night my son was playing up and my other half was at work the house was a dump the phone was ringing like made and i was stressed so i invited him in and dealt with the stuff going on around me while listening to him, i asked if we could cancel and stay with bt if when my other half got home and he didnt want to go to talk talk and he said yes no problems it would be easy to cancel!
the next thing i know i couldnt sign the contract because i didnt have a bank card or something so he forged my other half signature which was nothing like his signature and he even put the worng house number down found out later!
anywayz the next day i ring up and cancel because im thinking dodgey! they said oh yes ok we will cancel etc so then i ring up bt and make sure that we stay with them and they said thats ok and if talk talk dont cancel withing a certain time bt then have the right to cancel it on our behalf great i thought no probs! next thing i know we get a final bill from bt and a final bill from talk talk!
so we decide to just pay both the bills and have no phone for a while we have now done this and gone back to bt but still really cross that the young boy forged my other halfs signature! even when i said well he will be home soon he said no no its ok! grrr if we had money we would have taken action what can you do though when your skint!!!Ignorance (harry o) It's not a lark sleeping in the park as u go walking by,Though im praying 4 my wings As u look with ur blind eye,4 who gives homes 2 garden gnomes,While their brothers & sisters cry,So give us a break 4 heaven's sake Beacause were not mad of stone,& u know the world will b a better place When every1 has a home!0 -

My mother is a TalkTalk Onetel customer, whereas I am straight TalkTalk. I get free calls to her at all times, she only gets free calls to me at evenings and weekends - her daytime calls to me are charged. In her 3 calls to them about this, they promised to call her back and never did. Her recorded delivery letter to them went unanswered. I've now taken it up on her behalf both by phone and email and they tell me something different every time. So far I've been told TalkTalk Onetel is a separate company and calls to them are not free; there's a fault on my line because I shouldn't be getting free calls to her; because my plan is for evening and weekends, I should only get free calls to her at evenings and weekends; there are no plans as yet for TalkTalk and Onetel to merge into one company (!) .....
It's clear from earlier threads that we should be getting free calls to each other, at all times, regardless of plans. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can proceed, who I can talk to or email to get this resolved?0 -

If not, you might try the Talk Talk members' forum.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market.
