This line was not present when I just ran Hijack:

Now running Combofix and it seems to have stalled at Stage 50. It's been stalled for about 30 minutes.

Yes, tried leaving it overnight, but still stalls at stage 50 for some reason. Before it starts it tells me to disable Mcafee and AVG - neither fo which are running! I use Antivir and have swiched that off before starting.

Run a fresh hijack log

Try combofix with the cr*p rapport switched off

ok tried it in Safe Mode but still stalls at Stage 50. Perhaps it'll be easiest to back its files up and then restore it to its factory state. Maybe that'd be the best thing. What do you think?
