Didnt have time to update yesterday because went shopping spent too much and I was on nightshift and I am again tonight.

Morrisons (I know I was supposed to be going to Aldi, Netto or Lidl but had a voucher if you spent over £40 you got £4 off your shopping -and got loads of bogof offers) -£49.50 :eek:
JTF cash and carry-cleaning things -£9.53
Pets @ home pack of 52 puppy training pads - these are essential for my old dog who is 16 and blind and deaf and wees on every door frame - so we have to tape the pads to the frames -£19.99 - me an OH take turns in buying these and unfortunately it was my turn.

On a positive note today was a nsd and it is 11 days till payday. Red gas and electric bills have come so going to have to sort at least one out of this pay and another out on next day on 30th.

Im off on nightshift again tonight but once thats over im off until Friday morning :T:T xx

Westie thats great 300 odd quid before payday ! Youll have way over 500 in that savings account thing of yours. A big payment to something will make you feel great aswell (im guessing thats what your doing )

claire's right you are doing so well to have £300 left at this stage in the month, i got down to a fiver but thankfully it's payday today so lots more money to be playing with for a little while.

Sorry I havent posted for ages but dont seem to have much time at minute.

I have decided not to post every item I spend on here as its just getting me down however I do have a spending diary (paper version) which is updated everyday and I check my internet banking at least once a day.

Forgot to mention I worked overtime on Saturday night for 6 hours but that is double time so should get paid for that on next payday which is 27/08/09 and also I have volunteered to work overtime on bank holiday 31/08/09 which is 8 hours at double time and that should be on Septembers pay. For the first time in my life I have shopped around for insurance as buildings and contents was up for renewal and Barclays quoted £46.70 per month and I managed to get Tescos Finest Insurance for £32.92 per month - :T.

Just checked bank balance +£499.86 :rolleyes:

Its going to be close this month as I have a few things happening but hopefully I can do it xx

hi, don't feel bad about not posting all your spends, as long as you record them that's all that matters. well done for changing your habits and shopping around for insurance, i'm about to get started on doing that as mine are coming due soon. you're lucky to get overtime at a premium, oh has to work an extra shift a week just to get a decent take home pay and it only gets paid at flat rate. A cheek but otherwise his take home is so bad it's disgusting.

Was getting a bit paranoid that no one was replying.

Its good about overtime but unfortunately get hammered with tax and have to pay 11% of my wage on pension. It will be worth it in the end.

Things not going good with OH but will post some time during today for latest update xx :eek:
