    Hi

Just come back from work, trying to cool off. We had a training session this morning and the only place we could hold it was in the south-facing conservatory  Still, at least I don't have to do this afternoon's session, will be at two meetings instead :D
Early start today, had to take DD1's car in for service & MOT (DD1 was too wrapped up in holiday preparations to think about it and will shortly be on her way back from Kos).
OS - dinner will be spag bol from the freezer, housework will depend on what time I get back and how hot it is!

JackieO - good luck for this afternoon
Pippa - congratulations to you both
    Celyn - well done!

    Have a good afternoon all.

Belated happy birthday and anniversary to Mioliere and OH

    Happy anniversary to the Pippas....

Warm here, we had heavy rain during the night, very cloudy now.

More and more jobs being lost here, people are becoming very dispondent, but hopefully the recession won't last for too long, IMO people in general are much better off than in 80s, but young people have never had much constraint with money, jobs etc so will have difficulty adjusting.

Might have spaghetti for dinner, there is chicken left from yesterday but not sure that there is enough to feed us to-night. Must make some bread soon as no longer keen on shop bought..

JackieO good luck with your consultant's visit this afternoon, hugs to your DD re gall bladder pain, I remember the pain and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Tired mum...glad to hear that there is no exclusion for your son...maybe a fresh start would be the best thing for him though.

Hugs to all, hope that you have a good day

That massively counts! Trust me... in my world at the moment eating ice cream out of the carton counts as OS as I'm reducing the amount of washing up :D :rotfl::rotfl:

Just popped back for a quick read and to thank you all for your good wishes on our anniversary
Had a lovely day went shopping to Redditch, bought a few bits and pieces, got some books for mum, cut offs for me, 2 shirts for £6 for OH,
then to the Stag for a late lunch 3:30 had a steak sizzler and very nice it was too.

Then went over to see DS2 ,DIL and DGS, I've knitted him a Thomas the Tank Engine jumper and he loves it, and insisted I put it on him, its too big at the mo as I did a larger size age 2 so it will fit in the winter.
He kept it on for a while but I had to take it off he was boiling.

Right, I am off for a cool drink, shandy I think will be nice.
Enjoy the rest of the evening everyone

    Good evening chums,
Thank you for all your good wishes I saw my surgeon late this afternoon, and the CT scan and the mammogram are clear, and I don't (fingers crossed) have to see her until 15th June 2010 Yippee. I went back to my DD's as I knew she would be stressing and stayed and had some dinner with her tonight ,hence the reason I am late posting .She is feeling slightly better but has no energy at all which is so unlike her.I think the strong antibiotics are kicking in a bit now as she managed to eat a little bit more tonight than she has eaten all week.Bless her she is very rarely ill, and like her Mum, not a patient patient. it's quite a nasty thing and I have never come across it before, she said the pain was worse than labour and she has had five children so she knows all about labour pains. Her little lads have been very good although her 13 year old thought you had to put a Persil tablet in the dishwasher and couldn't see what the difference was, apart from the size, He yelled out 'The tablets don't fit in the drawer Granny'.Luckily I managed to stop him before he totalled her DW
Still he does his best :) Well I am off to have a large G&T to celebrate .
    Night all and Cheers:beer::D
