  • Morning all
Have agood day at the show Nyk & SM

sft - bails flies Friday 7th at 9.30pm. I'm sure she'll be back on here before she goes. We had a great meet on Monday and as usual didn't stop talking for 3 hrs. at roof news, but you are resourceful and will manage - great to hear you won't let it spoil your trip.

Just been talking to neighbour and she has thought of opening her house for the May festival which would be great as I am looking for aplace in one of the open houses to display/sell my mosacis and clocks and it couldn't be more convenient than next door:j. Must encourage her in her dream:D.

SL - well done for geting back to logging everything - I've had to whip myself back into shape with that too and am back on track. Well done on the weight loss with sw. I imagine you are esting plenty, which is the secret of sw, not going hungry.

2 frugal trips out on my bike this week and I have had no ill after affects:j. I do need a gel saddle cover though, dispite plenty of personal padding:o. Wish i had bought one from lidl for £2.99 ealier in the year.

HWGA - welcome back: the 5 k challenge thing is an expercise prog some our following that builds you up slowly to be able to run 5 k: it's online and posted here somewhere, about 2 weeks ago. Initiaited by NYk as part of fitter not fatter campaign the frugal way (i.e. you don't need to join a gym)

Our telephones are going wrong(buttons). Have sourced a twin set for £19.99 from argos and found an unused/unwanted answer machine though family that we can have - the set I bought before incl answer machine was £50, so spending much less this time:j. I have nectar points though online utility meter reading which will go against cost of phone.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Hi everyone, just caught up but no real time to answer all your news properly so sorry about that. It's mental here and with my mum and OH both ill and unable to help,it's all getting a little daunting! Dad bless him is helping me sort my car out so I can lend it to a friend while we're away but need to get on with lots of other things. Love to you all, great to hear from you SFT, really sorry about the roof but at least you have an option to borrow the funds if need be. Your trip sounds wonderful, hope you enjoy Nicaragua. Enjoy the show SM and Nyk. Will definitely pop in before we go and sooner if I can xx

SM - I'm keen to know about bottles too, as the sloes are growing rapidly near us :) I'm going to pop to Wilk*'s at lunchtime and will report back. I like the look of the ones at Lakel*nd but don't want to pay their prices.

In that case you're home and dry :T

If there's a charge then RM and PF won't deliver until you've paid.

Couriers (on the other hand) deliver and then send you a bill through the post - and that can be anything up to a month later !!!
