BB-Oh how lovely. Baby seagulls! Would love a photo of those!
mmm... "lovely"...Got a feeling you'd still be saying that if you had a baby velociraptor nesting in your bathroom. Sorry, can't do a photo; it's nest is hidden in the middle of a victorian chimeypot fest on the house that backs on to ours.
However, I can show you a piccie of some of the stunning moths we saw on our moth hunt on Tuesday night:

also this one which was enormous (4.5 inch wingspan) that I had on my finger:

ditto this one:

BB-You know me so well. We saw a fantastic Lime Hawk Moth at school. Whitewing - don't worry about your parents. I'm sure (as others have said) they'll be fine soon
SL - well done with the shower :T Good luck with the dryer..... I have to admit that's one appliance I probably wouldn't chose to 'tamper' with myself, especially after a quick walk down the road this morning took me past a house with one out front - and it had clearly gone up in flames before being evicted
Went to F0cus for my garden furntiture this morning, having added covers for the parasol and furniture to my shopping list. The chap they assigned to help me (couldn't locate anything except the actualy furniture myself, and no way I could have shifted the boxes onto a trolley, around the store and into my car by myself) was fantastic. As I'd noted all the code number from their website before going down he checked stock - which immediately informed me they didn't have the furniture cover or the parasol in the natural colour I wanted (only blue or green). The one on display was natural, but as it's not a discontinued line they're not allowed to sell it - so he swapped it out for a green one so I could have it anyway(I was happy to forfeit any 'ex-display' discount in return for getting the colour I wanted - and the fuel to get to the closest store with one in would have cost me more than I'd likely have got as a discount anyway!) Unfortunately we couldn't find the parasol base I wanted (plastic for £5) despite the system showing a stock level of 4 - and I wasn't paying £20-£25 for a metal one
Brought it home, unpacked it. assembled the table, put that and the chairs in place, put the parasol in place (think it's safe enough without the base for now) - and promptly had the sky open up on me  So a mad scramble to get the parasol cover in place (I could have used my ladders for that :rolleyes2 ) and then for black bin bags to pull over the re-folded chairs - which appear to be just about big enough to keep the seats dry, but I suspect the very bottom of the backs may have caught the rain still
I'm wondering what I've used my bank card for that I've forgotten (or what bills I have to pay manually I've forgotted to do!), as I didn't actually have to move any money from my savings account to pay for this -- and other than the last couple of days of a month when the company pensions go in (and before the bulk gets transferred to the account that pays all my direct debits - which I did as normal) I never have as much money in there as I had this morningCheryl0 -
Hi all. Had a lovely meal out with friend last night at my fav restaurant a bit pricy but I don't get to go that often. Being very good at writing everything down as don't want to lose focus.
Will be spending a fair bit on food this month as would like to stock up before summer holidays begin!November NSD's - 70 -
Hey everyone - i started on page 79 today and have eventually caught up. Not being able to access the thread on my mobile means i'm finding it hard to keep up!
I have spent £448.61 in June - this includes everything!
I think about £60.00 of this money will have gone towards travel expenses for work and i also bought a new hoover last week at £40!
House purchase confirmed last week - mortgage offer through so hopefully i should be moving in at the end of the summer!! How exciting!
Need to add to my deposit between now and then so am going to be extra frugal and try to work hard on the 'extra money' department.
Spent £19.40 in asda today. I never spend more thanabout £12.00 (only feeding myself each week) so have been analysing the receipt to see where it all went wrong.
Not going to be doing any shopping next week as it is a holiday in Northern Ireland next monday and tuesday and i'm off work the wednesday as well.
My lettuces, carrots and brocolli have al started to grow! Going to pick some lettuce today for salad lunch tomorrow.£4000 a year challenge member

Phew! In from a mammoth day at the car boot, up at 6 having not slept all night but the rain stayed off - in fact it was glorious and we got a little burnt
. We did really well despite it being a quiet one thanks to a local carnival yesterday, we made £128.06 - and I know you'll all appreciate that 6p

It was all my stuff but OH and are are going to share the money equally as he's really helped me to get my head around decluttering and getting rid of stuff I've had for years. I'm hoping we can put it in the Dream Pot but we'll see...;)
OH is now crashed out on the floor, sound asleep, bless :rotfl:We're off to a BBQ in a minute, just catching some tennis first and hopefully some of your posts. Hope you've all had a lovely weekend, catch up properly tomorrow x
ps you're all lovely! xxThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Well done on the car boot sale! I need to spend some more time at my Dad's house hunting through the stuff I've left in his attic. I think a lot of that will be saleable, including a large collection of Myth and Magic ornaments. There's not room to display them all so I'll just keep a few favourite ones.
H2B has just left, he's been sent to Birmingham to work all week, so won't see him until late Friday :-( I will have to find some frugal things to do as a distraction to stop myself missing him too much, and shopping to cheer myself up. I'd like to get all the grass out of the flower borders, but that does depend on it being good weather.
We had some visitors today that included a 9 month old baby. Poor Bessie cat thought that was very scary and hid behind the sofa... Had a lovely BBQ with homemade lentil burgers, homegrown salad, and there's plenty of leftovers for me to eat tomorrow. Ooh, have just remembered there's half a bottle of wine too, so think I'll have a lazy evening cross stitching and drinking. I couldn't have any wine earlier as I drove H2B to the station.Live on £11k in 20110 -

Well done from me though - that's an impressive amount :TCheryl0 -
Ram-Congratulations on the house!
Bails-Great result at the Boot Sale.
Lynda-Those lentil burgers sound delicious. Recipe please!
Well we've had a lovely day. Got school work done. Started a new book (which I picked up at a Summer Fete for 30p). Ate lovely food. My sister and niece came over with freshly picked raspberries and strawberries. Also wood for our fire and shredded paper for the bricks we are going to be making. She is wonderful and is very into foraging at the mo. Been making Elderflower champers just like Mr DT (?) and can't wait for blackberry season to start. Later our neighbours came over and found out they've done a fair bit of travelling too. So enjoyed getting to know them and listening to their stories.
Mr SFT has gone off to the pub for the night and I'm really tempted to go for a walk. Should be safe along the footpaths shouldn't I?
What do you think?
