My apology if it was too in your face...
For alot of us its real and everyday and in our faces.
The game does sicken me.
The posts have attacted some comments and been read by loads of
people.
All I want is for you to think, it was a thought provoking post.
Yes I have also 'rattled the tin' outside Sainsburys and will be there tomorrow. (11-11-09)
Thanks Carrie.
I think all the time thanks.
Do you think, 'you know what, I've just posted a load of presumptuous codswallop about people I don't know and will never meet'.
:rolleyes:0 -
I bought a copy of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 for my son's Xmas in my local Morrisons store for £26.99. I don't know if it was a pricing error on their part but after I had traipsed the city centre for most of the day and almost resigned myself to the fact that I was going to have to part with the extortionate £44.99 that pretty much every game store was charging, I was sooooooooooooo pleased to find it at the price I did and promptly grabbed one and bought it on the spot!!!!! Quite good considering the deals that most of the stores are offering, such as, trading in one of the previous C.O.D. games and get it half price, which I wouldnt allow my son to do as we only just shelled out £60 for O.D.S.T!!!!! Hope this helps someone out!!!
where did you get it for £25.99,0 -

Why does the game sicken you...it is just that a game! My younger brother is in the army and about to head out to Afghan...he qued for his copy this morning like everyone else. If it doesn't phase those brave soldiers you are using as a prop, then why should it phase you?
I find it quiet sickening you are using a worthy cause to try !!!!! peoples consciences. I find it sickening you feel the need to try and !!!!! peoples consciences. It is not relevant to this thread, post on the charity board. I don't need you telling me to put money I have saved by buying the game at a discount into this cause. If I had spare cash then I would gladly give to Help the Hero's or any other charity I support. Do not sit there in a condescending manor making assumptions of posters within this thread....who gives you the right to decide we need our consciences pricking? Now that isn't a very charitable attitude is it my dear?0 -

Carrie,
I lost my brother in this so called war on terrorists....I donate money already to several charities however, my brother would have been the first in the queue to buy this game at a bargain price. I think you should seriously think before you speak!!!
You keep rattling your tin and leave the bargin hunting forums to us!
