Ive seen it posted in the new york/ Las vegas thread ( and posted myself) about Delta's new 1 check-in bag policy, now charging for a 2nd checked in bag $50.
Just been on the website again to check what the measurements are required for carry on baggage and noticed that the date of which the 1 bag restriction started is now different from the date before. 2months ago it said:
when traveling to or from cities outside the United States you can check two bags, per passenger at no extra charge. For tickets purchased on or after April 22, 2009 for travel beginning July 1, 2009, customers in economy class will be charged $50 US (or the local equivalent currency) for the second checked bag. Exceptions to the second checked bag fee include:

So if you booked before then you now DO get to check-in 2 suitcases.
This is great for me as i booked on the 5th May and ment i would have had to buy a small carry on case as i wanted to bring 2 suitcases however now i don't need to buy one
Just thought this change of information may be useful to some other people.
