I had bother with a candidate I interviewed, technically he had the skills for the role but was so arrogant and full of himself there was no way he would have fitted into the team, so I didnt hire him.
He rang me almost daily to complain, ask for feedback etc, in the end he accused me of racism (He was muslim), and was going to take me to a tribunal to take me to the cleaners.
After 3 weeks, of this I got bored, and when he rang again to have a rant and tell me how he was the best programmer on teh planet and I was mad not to hire him, I asked him if he wanted to speak to the guy I hired.
In perfect Urdu, my new employee tore him a new one, and told him exactly why he wasn't hired, and he was giving Muslims a bad name. Not surprising I never heard from him again.0 -
Just except for whatever reason in this case you were not the best candidate and move on...its all part of the job process - we have all been there when we think we have walked it and we havent...
IMO for the sake of trying to get legal with someone who is clearly not going to change their mind is fruitless unless as someone else has posted there is clear reasons... I would just write a polite letter asking for some feedback to the HR department and see where that gets you if you really want to know.0
