How do you know you stormed it or it went well?
How do you know there wasnt better candidates?
What do you think you were discriminated against on?
do you really think they would write such down?
What do you want to achieve?0 -

Sometimes Linas makes really good points....and this is one such occasion.
You may have stormed it, but the next person through the door may well have been a better candidate.
If you were discriminated against, you'll never prove it.0 -
I can understand why you would want to see the notes but how can you guarantee that the notes you would are the 1s made in the interview, be a waste of money imo, why do you think you were unsuccessful0

So true! Even if the interviewers did write down anything dodgy, they'd rewrite them before sending them to an interviewee!0 -
Surely they can just claim they have destoyed your notes already. under the very same data protection act, (ie data should not be kept longer than necessary) as you didn't get the job, we destoryed the notes as it was no longer necessary.0

I make notes when interviewing, and for some candidates, I do make scathing comments that are sometimes not very professional
, but asking for copies of the notes is a joke, If I was asked, I would type up some new vague non-descript notes and send them instead, or just ignore the request all together.
Either way, I would log the name and details, into my 'Trouble' database and would never interview again.0 -

And thank your lucky stars that you had a narrow escape.0 -
I was asking for an answer to a simple question, not to be put down... All i wanted to know was if you could claim the interview notes, which thanks to DMG24 i know that you can, so if the rest of you would kindly keep your opions to yourself.Had my amazing little girlie 08/12/2007 - 11 days late! 9lbs 3oz

I don't think getting the notes is going to get them to change their mind in anyway
But it can be helpful to see where they think you could do better or improve0 -
Thats what i wanted, i've already got a job within the DWP but im waiting for a start date, I progressed really well through all of the recruitment process 5 stages in just over a week, and got an unsuccesful email yesterday morning. I wanted to see what was written about me, and my answer to the interview and how I was marked. I wasnt sure if I could request this, so asked here.
I was upset yesterday as everything had gone so well and its left me in a pickle.Had my amazing little girlie 08/12/2007 - 11 days late! 9lbs 3oz
