Never done my dog any harm when she's helped the cats out. Having said that, she is a bit loopy/nutty/maniac and she thinks that she's a cat (well, she responds to all of their names!).

u may feed a dog cat food but u maynot feed a cat dog food ( but we fed dog food to our cat when i was young 1980s)
It's nice to be important but it's important to be nice!

If u think my post has been helpful, push my 'thanks' button cheers :)
  • I've been looking after my parents' dog and used the last tin of dog food - the only way I could get him to eat the dry stuff was to add some cat food. So I'm hoping that it'll be okay since he'll go back to his normal diet shortly....don't want my folks coming back to a poorly mutt!!
  • Bit OT but cat food has got to be better than anti-freeze! :p

I got a free box of dried cat food unsolicited in the post. No idea why as I've never owned a cat!

One dog has a cast iron stomach, so I gave her 2/3 dried dog food and 1/3 cat food to use it up. She was fine and enjoyed it.

The other dog has a more delicate tummy, so I didn't risk it with him.
Here I go again on my own....
