Intenet deals

hi everyone!

I live in a shared house and one of my housemates paid to have a BT line put in and to have the internet put in too. The others in the house all paid towards the internet bill and up until recently its worked well. She was cut off without warning (or so she says) awhile ago and we have all been without the internet for awhile now ..... :((((

We tend to us it a lot although we are not really into downloading movies etc although some music etc.

Can anyone suggest any deals we could look into to get the internet bck?? We are really struggling as I only have limited access at the library and normally we would look this sort of thing up online. Neither of us really wants to commit to a year long contract or anything like that as this house is tenous as it is and I cant be certain things will still be the same in 12 months.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

MH

They wouldn't cut you off without warning unless the bills had not been paid, so you need to have a serious chat with your housemate about where the money has been going that you contributed.
To get broadband back on that line you will have to settle whatever is owing first.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    hi,

Thankfully it was only £3 a month and we are not named on the account. We believe that she was exceeding the bandwidth as she was downloading a lot of movies and she keeps going on about how it was "Unlimited." There is a lot going on in our at the moment and she isn't saying much so we can only guess.

The 3 deal of 15 GB at £15 seems to be the best one on the market at the moment - has anyone else spotted a similarly good deal??

When you look at it, the deal sounds great....

however I personally would NEVER use 3 again - all the stories you hear about poor reliability, bad service, poor reception are defo true.

You would be better off paying extra to the likes of Vodafone or 02
