    No
You could create a +ve balance on the Egg Card and then ask them to BACS transfer this +ve balance to your current account. Are you aware that this will attract a 2.5% uncapped BT fee?

I know they are increasing the bt fee thanks.

sos whats +ve? It would be a bit difficult to increase my credit limit as I work part-time now.

With regard to Egg - do check with them direct via secure messaging if you would be chargesd a BT fee for your anniversary offer. My understanding is that the uncapped changes only effect those who already would be charged a capped fee - those of us lucky enough to have the old t&c's - with no bt fee have been uneffected. Mine went through and my OH's too - they did try and charge him a £50 fee but he emailed telling them it was an error and they removed it within days.
  • I applied about 2-3 weeks ago, they are not the quickest in sending out the documentation etc so I only got to BT Thursday - they confirmed it was fee-free but they may have withdrawn that since I applied

Researcher, the uncapped egg applies to everyone, however long they have had their card. the reason you weren't charged on this anniversary was because it comes into effect from May 1st, so enjoy this anniversary offer while it lasts!

I'm not certain the charge rise isnt for old customers as I received an email saying about the changes. I will contact them though to be certain.
