    Technically no, but I am guessing the finance packages appeal to people who may not be able to afford certain types of cars, or get finance elsewhere for them, hence being forced into buying from them.

    I remember going into CarCraft years ago and looking at a 2nd hand Mini One which was priced more than new! The sales pressure is immense and you quickly realise that it's just a front for selling financial products at ridiculous rates to anyone who'll bite. I was thankful to escape! I've read stories of people paying hundreds of pounds for payment protection and warranties that aren't worth the paper they're printed on!

    I went once, and they wouldnt tell the purchase price, it was always £80 a week or £66 a week etc. I took a test drive to play with the rep, scared him silly and left.
