Seems to have been a glitch! Sad. can't explain the results I got as further tests are within the usual range.
I'd be interested to hear if anyone can explain the result?
back in the day when I had a 56k modem it would start off at like 10mb downloads but it was never real, just windows glitches. same has probably happened the speedtest didnt record the correct results hence the glitch.
Bt has only rolled out 20mb so that is the max you could of got in your actual area. they have began fibre trials but only in 3 locations around the UK.All hail the Jack Daniels Swozzler!:beer:0
