Wow im amazed at the service ive just received from amazon.
I emailed them Monday night to say that my tripod was faulty and asked how to go about returning it and getting a replacement. I received an automated email to say that i shouold receive a reply within 24 hours.
When i got up yesterday (Tuesday) i checked my emails and had one to say they had sent out a replacement and today (Wednesday) Royal Mail delivered my new tripod.
Its not even 2 days from emailing them to getting the replacement, about a day and a half. Thats exceptional and would just like to share that with you.
Well done Amazon. :T

I brought an MP3 player last October from Amazon. Yesterday the headphones were faulty so I emailed them and asked them if they could replace the headphones.
Within 15 minutes I had a reply saying they could not replace part of the order, they would replace the MP3 player or I could have a full refund.
I emailed back saying I was really happy with the MP3 player and I would just buy a new set of headphones. I received an email straight back saying they would refund me £16 off the purchase price of the MP3 player. :T
Excellent service, guess who I am buying my headphones from!!0 -
i have so far had no problems with amazon, however a call center would be nice, but then this does push up costs so tough 1! but yeh amazon are very good.0

I love Amazon too! I called their helpline yesterday enquiring about the status of my order. I was put through to the lovely Mary-Ann, the one with the very sexy husky voice, based in North Dakota. She took a look at my order, fast-tracked it through the system and upgraded it to first class delivery for free! You can't get much better service than that!0

I agree Amazon are excellent, we had a problem with a mobile we bought for our daughter at Christmas (Sim Card wasn't registered), we ctcd Amazon via internet/email and had a replacement within a few days! :T
However I'm not so keen on their Market Place service as you have to rely on the individual suppliers - I avoid it though find I have to be careful not to order something through it by mistake.
Cheers

After reading this I decided to email their customer services department regarding a blender I bought at Xmas that I have only just got out to use and noticed a small chip and flaw around the top.
They replied saying could return for refund or they will order again and credit when they get mine back.
So glad I read this as I thought It was too late to do anything.0 -

Amazon is the one company I have dealt with loads and can honestly say hand on heart I have never had any problem with what so ever. Long may it continue

I am sufferring with Amazon at the moment
I put a 'Limited edition' pre-order CD in my basket on thursday for £14.99
went to hunt for something to get me free super saver delivery - went to bed, got up next morning - and it said 'no longer available!' - at this point I entered bank holiday customer services nightmare
Phones gave message that customer services was shut
Email was staffed by people who kept telling me that the CD was available - but sending me the wrong link
Today it is back on the site at £48.99!!! and I am waiting for a call back from customer services0 -
Amazon were great with me, I bought a router and after spending 2 days trying to get it to work I sent an email to them at about 4:30am next morning at 9:05 I had an email explaining how to send it back, I replied immidetly to ask when the money will be credited to my account. Got another email back within a few hours saying they had requested a refund and would be with me within 24 hours (which they were true to their word) even though I hadnt sent it back. Great service :beer:Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0
