Don't worry, if more than 6yrs ago its statute barred and so they cannot touch you. Also, its unlikely their paperwork will be in order now, bearing in mind all the changes through the years! :beer:

I just took the plunge and showed my ID documents at the bank...

The lady took my letter and discussed it with someone, lots of muttering and looking in my direction.

I was then asked if I would be using the account or closing it.

I said closing it.

I was then called into an office to discuss where I wanted the money transfered to.

Turns out I had £285 sitting in an account that I had forgotten about.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D.

(I still dont know where the cash came from, I will have to wait till I see a proper statement.)
