  • Thanks all, tbh I am not that botthered about paying for s/he to be treated and to take s/he in, with Mums agreement. However I am worried if I take s/he in and then its owner comes forward I will no doubt have to hand s/he back. If the cat has some treatment done and it costs say £100 I doubt I wil get that back from the original owner :confused: Where would I stand?

    Mum says she will phone our vet tommorow and see if we can get it scanned for a chip for free or not and then we will go from there. He is sat under my window just now crying :o

    Take it to an animal charity and let them trace (or not) the owner. If there is no owner, then the outright hints you left with the charity would ensure you got a phone-call...
