What to do next about cancelled item?

Personally I wouldnt agree to the cancellation As it all sounds a but fishy to me. How do you damage a bag just after you sell it. If i was the seller I would have sent you a photo of proof.
Your choices as far as I see them are
1/ Agree to the cancellation so they get the FVF back
2/ Ask for a photo of the damage before you will agree to the cancellation
3/ Start a Paypal claim for INR
4/ Dont do anythhing just leave it
Whatever you do I would make the decision now and move on, its not worth much more of your time. If you are a seller also I would block both those IDs from bidding on your auctions (a bit of Paranoia never hurts)0 -
Well, before I posted, I thought about just leaving it, but that was before i'd thought maybe it was to do with fees being refunded and I don't want to be mean to the seller, as they may be genuine.
I agree it's not worth much of my time, so i'll make a decision tonight when I get in, based on what you good folk say.
I don't sell, but I guess it would not hurt to block a couple of ID's, just incase I take selling up.

I wouldn't agree to the cancel transaction request, then they get their fees back and can relist, as it doesn't sound like it all adds up about being damaged. It all sounds a bit dodgy to me, but I suppose I'm really suspicious.0

Nothing wrong with a bit of suspicion and Paranoia;)0 -
I'm suspicious too

I thought i'd ask you folk, as you are way more knowledged than me and last time I asked for advice, it was very helpful (even if I mis-read/mis-understood it
)
I won't leave any more responses here until I get home tonight, but if anyone else has any other views, they would be appreciated (on topic please
)
I'm not sure how much they would get back on £17.02 fvf, not that it's my business, but if it's pennies, it would make the decision easier, as if it's a few quid, i'd feel guilty just incase they were genuine!
Anyway, as cyberbob says, I can put too much into this, so shall forget it until I get home tonight and deal with it and any responses from you lot, then.
Thanks

10% so about £1.700 -
10%? Didn't imagine it was that much that eBay took.
I'll ignore it and see if they'll go away. I wasn't happy the sale was cancelled in the first place.0 -
You should decline it, they will definitely not get their fees back then, which they don't deserve if theywon't even send you photo proof of the "damage"..0
-
Would ignoring not do the same thing?
Until I agree to cancellation, they can't refund fees can they?
They wouldn't send any proof, just have to take their word for it.0 -
If they WOULDN'T send any proof, I'd decline.Undergrad law student. Take my advice with a pinch of salt! :rotfl:0
