What to do next about cancelled item?

I won an item and the seller has refunded me saying the item is now damaged.

What do I do about feedback etc? Not bother? Although i'm disappointed as it was a great price, at least I received a full refund.

I won the item for far less than I expected, as have seen many of the same item go for much more, so i'm checking just to make sure the seller doesn't re-list hoping to make more.

You don't HAVE to leave feedback.
You might CHOOSE to sit tight and watch his auctions for a while in case it reappears... THEN leave feedback ;)

If seller re-lists, complain to ebay. I'm sure thats against their rules.

I'll keep them in my sight to see if they re-list. I hope it's against the rules and that I don't see a re-listing.

Is it 90 days I can keep an item on my list before being unable to leave feedback?

Not sure, check the feedback help page, that should tell you how long you have.

I'll leave the item in my ebay for 60 days and see what happens.

    Thanks

I responded with no hard feelings.

Minutes later, the same item was put on Ebay by a different person, but with same starting price and postage as the one I won, but with a different picture.

The new listing is by someone in a small place, just outside of the town of the first seller.

Possibly a coincidence, but will look closer after i've grabbed a bite to eat.

Could be coincidence, could be that the seller got someone else to put it up for them. Doy ou have a link to both?

Admittedly they are slightly different, as the new one has a couple of more things. Not to say they just haven't been added to make it more attractive.

What got me was the exact same starting price and postage, then when I suspiciously checked where the 2 sellers places were, I put 2 and 2 together and maybe made 4...or maybe 5. Possibly no way of checking unless eBay check user IP's.

Checking again, it's not as close as I thought, but a 5.32 miles is pretty close :o

Had bought it for my niece, but now ill have to think of something else!

The same starting price thing's a no-brainer. It's free to list sub-99p stuff. As to them being similar and close geographically, maybe the Britney Circus tour did a show close to there...
